Sunshine Theatre Productions

Sunshine Theatre Productions was founded in 1999 in Brome Lake and has produced over fifteen community shows and two professional productions as well as readings of the classics and musical shows. Four original social theatre productions for health promotion toured extensively. Theatre Directors, Sunil Mahtani, Doug Hooper, Laura Teasdale and Kate Holbrook have directed plays in many different performance spaces around the Townships. Artistic Director, Doug Hooper chooses plays that are appreciated in the community for humorous and witty writing as well as their relevant commentary on life. The quality of acting, whether it is on a professional or amateur level, stays true to the original work. Casts of all ages have enjoyed working with dedicated and creative technicians, set and costume designers and front of house managers. Audiences everywhere around the Townships value Sunshine Theatre for their performances in English with reasonable priced tickets.
